Shanghai, China is home to one of my favourite sets of skyscrapers. The city’s skyline is a stunning display of modern architecture, with iconic buildings such as the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Shanghai Tower, and the Jin Mao Tower towering over the cityscape. The Oriental Pearl Tower is a unique structure with its distinctive spherical design and pink and purple lighting, making it a standout landmark in Shanghai. The Shanghai Tower is the tallest skyscraper in China and the second tallest in the world, offering impressive views of the city from its observation deck. The Jin Mao Tower is another notable skyscraper, known for its elegant design and glass facade that reflects the surrounding buildings. These skyscrapers not only add to the beauty of Shanghai’s skyline but also serve as symbols of the city’s rapid economic growth and modernization.
